A super soft poly cotton blackout lining in cream.
The problems that can occur with blackout lining is that it can have an almost cardboard feel, which results in the curtains feeling stiff, which effects the drape of the curtain.
This blackout is very soft meaning that you do not affect the drape of the curtain.
It is a little more expensive than the normal blackouts, but this lining is so easy to work with.
An excellent product at a competitive price.

"Some lovely curtains I already had were too see -through for early summer mornings, even though they were lined. Making new curtains of good quality would have cost around £200 so I used the blackout lining to add an extra lining to the existing curtains. Perfect! No more sunlight streaming in at half four on a summer's morning and waking guests up far too early and only cost £20. "
"An excellent product that really does 'black out'. Nice and soft and not 'crispy' like other blackout lining. Using it hand sewn curtains and it's fairly easy to handle. Watch out when machine sewing as it does have a tendency to stretch a bit."

"I needed these linings as some new curtains allowed too much light into a very sunny room, so it woke me up in the very early summer dawns.\nAlthough the pale curtains already had linings, I made this fabric up to hang additionally on the curtain hooks as another lining. They are excellent and provide a perfect 'blackout', so I am delighted. I have recommended them to others, especially when asked what I needed them for as WWII was over, I felt I needed to clarify my reasoning. There is rather an unusual odour in the room from the linings which I put down to the treatment of the fabric to stop the light. I presume this will dissipate with time (at the moment I keep the windows slightly open)"
"excellent, or so my student daughter says and i used this in her room, it doesnt seem to make a difference to day or night she sleeps away...lol"
"Product provides excellent blackout but drapes fairly softly and is cream so blends well with existing décor. I have attached it to curtains that were already lined with narrow header tape and hooks to the curtains. There is no need to have same amount of gather, just enough to draw curtains closed."
