We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Access to this website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

Website access

Terrysfabrics.co.uk grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it under any circumstances. This website or any portion of this website (including any images, logos or descriptions) may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited or used for any commercial purpose.

We reserve the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

If you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner.

All content included on the website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Terrysfabrics.co.uk.

You may not systematically extract and/or re-utilise parts of the contents of the website without our express written consent. In particular, you may not utilise any data gathering and extraction tools to extract any substantial parts or information contained on this website.

Our contract

When you place an order to purchase a product from Terrysfabrics.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order.

Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you . That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Confirmation of Dispatch E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.


When ordering goods for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes. You will be responsible for all such charges, together with any additional charges for customs clearance.

Returns & replacements

All products are quality checked before dispatch but in the unlikely event that you experience any problems please contact us.

We will deal with your queries quickly and efficiently, and if necessary arrange for a replacement to be sent without delay. If you return products that were posted free of charge by us as a result of the order value exceeding £100, we reserve the right to charge a postage fee if all or part of the order is returned to us results in the aggregate value of the goods not returned to be under £100.

No quibble returns

If any item displaying the no quibble refund icon does not meet your expectations you may return it at your cost within 28 days for a no questions asked refund of the value of the product. All we require is that it arrives in original condition, including the packaging & that you obtain proof of return from your carrier. We cannot refund any pre packed items such as curtain tape and haberdshaery products that where the packaging has been opened, and we cannot refund any other products without the original packaging or products that have been trimmed or adjusted in any way.

Please note that you must be able to provide proof of delivery to us of your returns, so please ensure you retain any tracking information in case we cannot locate your parcel.


In order to provide the best service possible, you may now use Collect+ as a service to return parcels to us at a cost of £4.60 including VAT. This is a service where you can pay for the return cost online, and then drop it off at a local convenience store at your convenience, and your items will be returned to us. Using this option our Collect+ contract insures your return against damage.

Please ensure that your return label is printed for Collect+ as instructed on the above link, your parcel can not be collected without this.

Also ensure you include a copy of your order details, with explanation for the return, inside the box not on the outside.

As soon as we receive the goods back from you we will refund your credit card on which you originally made payment, usually within 2-3 days of us receiving items in our warehouse. We would suggest you allow 7 days from the date of posting to receive any refunds to allow for postage delays in busy times.

Tracking Your Return

You can track your return back to us when sending it via Collect+, but please bear in mind that your parcel will not be available to track until it has been collected from the place where you dropped it off. Your parcels tracking number will be found on the receipt you recieve when dropping your parcel off at your chosen convenience store. Please keep a record of this as we will be unable to retrieve this number should you lose it.

Returning fabric & other cut items

Fabric is treated by us as an item made specifically for you, as it is cut from a larger roll and is cut specifically to your required length.

Because of this we provide a sampling service to allow you to ensure that the fabric you wish to purchase is suitable fro your requirements both in respect of colour, pattern and quality.

If you wish to return fabric (or other items that have been cut to length as a result of your order), you may return them at your cost, but all items will be subject to a cutting charge. This is purely to cover the waste generated.

The Cutting Charge will be calculated as follows:

  • 2m or less of fabric returned - 50% cutting charge
  • 3m or more fabric returned - 25% cutting charge

All amounts will be calculated on the price paid for the fabrics at the time of order.

Please ensure that you are totally satisfied for that any fabrics you order are the correct shade by ordering a sample, as all retuned fabrics are subject to our cutting charge, regardless of the reason for return.

Any queries regarding the measurements, meterage or length of fabric received must be drawn to our attention within 5 working days of receipt. It is only possible for us to rectify mistakes on the lengths/meterage of fabrics prior to the fabric being cut into. Once a fabric has been cut or altered in any way we cannot be responsible for any shortages in length.

Please note that the colours depicted in our website are only a representation of the colours Our sampling service is provided to allow customers to see samples of the actual fabric before ordering. We cannot accept any responsibility for colour and/or shade differences between the representations on the website, and the actual fabric (or Ready Made Curtains). Whilst we take as much care as possible, there may be some slight shade variation between samples sent out and the colour of the actual fabric.

Returning made to measure items

Made to measure items (e.g. blinds) ordered and dispatched from our website by us or and third party are not capable of being returned, and they are made specifically for your requirements.

The exceptions apply in the event of defective manufacture or damage in transit. Please see “Accepting and/or receiving Goods From us“ in respect of items damaged in transit.

Accepting and/or receiving goods from us

Where you order goods from this website, and they are dispatched to you from any of our nominated carriers or postal methods, you agree to inspect the goods so far as is practical before you sign and accept them. This applies to anyone accepting goods on your behalf. We may not be responsible for damage to goods that was identifiable at the time the goods were delivered, unless notified to our nominated carrier company that the goods are damaged at the time of signing. This notification must be in writing.

Pricing & availability

We list availability information for products sold by us on the website. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable, and we will confirm dispatch of your goods by way of a Confirmation of Dispatch E-mail.

Care instructions

You agree to be bound by the care instructions we provide to you with any product. Packaged items will usually contain care instructions in the packaging, and with other items we may provide literature details how to care for your products. You agree when purchasing from us that Terrys Fabrics will not be liable for damage/loss to goods where the care instructions are not followed. If you are unsure on what actions to carry out, then refer to the website for the product information, or alternatively contact our customer service department who will provide the necessary care instructions for you.

Shrinkage and colour loss

When soft furnishings are washed, some slight shrinkage and some colour loss may occur. Details of this information will be provided with your products, either on the packaging, or additional leaflets provided by us. You accept this information as part of the terms and conditions and agree that and colour loss or shrinkage mentioned in this information is reasonable.

Whenever you shop with terrysfabrics.co.uk we want you to know you are getting the best possible service from start to finish, as well as the very best prices available. The terrysfabrics.co.uk Price Match Promise is your guarantee that you're never paying too much for any of our terrysfabrics.co.uk offers.

In the unlikely event you find a product cheaper on a competitor website, to request a price match, simply navigate to the product you are interested in, and click the price match icon displayed on that page.

Price match conditions

You are eligible for a price-match if your request meets the following conditions: The terrysfabrics.co.uk price match guarantee applies only to internet retailers that have the identical product and/or goods in stock or service immediately available and the product, goods and/or service is priced accurately. Price match requests must be submitted within 21 days from the time of purchase to and must be sent to us from the product page you wish the price match on. When requesting a price match, please be aware that prices will be compared on the following criteria:

  • Prices are compared on product price where comparisons include the product plus handling and delivery charges when calculating the competitor's total price.
  • The terrysfabrics.co.uk price match does not apply when you use coupons, promotional offers or product-bundle pricing on the order.
  • The terrysfabrics.co.uk price match is limited to up to 21 days of confirmation of the sale of the relevant product, goods or service, which must be delivered to the same address.

Beds & Mattresses Guarantee

We understand that buying the right bed or mattress is an important decision so we offer a guarantee with all of our new beds and mattresses to give you extra peace of mind.

The period of guarantee will depend on the particular model of bed or mattress that is purchased. This information can be found on the product page for each item. Typically, our guarantees range from between 1-5 years. The guarantee period will begin from the date you received the item.

If you are unsure about any details of our guarantee then feel free to contact out customer service team who will be happy to clarify any questions.

What is covered by the Guarantee?

We provide a guarantee for any manufacturing fault or defect with the bed or mattress within the guarantee period outlined on the product page. The guarantee covers materials, workmanship and construction of your item.

If you find a fault with your item then please contact us and we will investigate the issue, and at our discretion will either replace or repair the item in question. In the event that your item is not capable of being repaired, and that item is no longer available we will replace it with a product to as close the same specification as possible up to the value of the original price which was paid.

The guarantee is valid only in the UK and Ireland and is in addition to your statutory rights.

What is not covered by the Guarantee?

Our guarantee does not cover any damage or fault to the item which has not been caused due to manufacturing. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incorrect storage and installation
  • Wear and tear, cuts, scratches etc
  • Improper use of the item (e.g. jumping up and down on the bed, bending or folding mattress etc)
  • Overloading of bed drawers
  • Spillages, stains etc
  • Non-domestic usage
  • Items that have been altered

Terry’s Fabrics reserve the right to refuse repair or replacement in circumstances where items have become defective due to reasons not covered by our guarantee.

How to Claim

If you find a fault with your item then please contact our customer service team using our online contact form. Include your order number, telephone number, and date of purchase. We will need a detailed description of the fault. We often find it useful if you can supply photographs of the fault (where possible) to help us resolve this for you as quickly as possible. It can be much quicker to resolve the issue when we can see the problem.

We will then discuss the issue with you and decide on the appropriate action to take. If we agree that the issue falls under the guarantee we arrange a repair or replacement. The action taken after this point is specific to the manufacturer and how long replacement items and /or repairs take. We will always do our utmost to ensure items are repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. We will advise you of what happens next at the time and keep you informed of any updates to the progress of your claim.


We will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. Terrysfabrics.co.uk does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused from our negligence or breach of duty.

Whilst we take reasonable precautions to ensure our website is free from viruses, spyware and any other similar programs, we do not accept liability for any viruses transmitted or received during the use of this website, and it is your responsibility as the user of this website to have appropriate and or adequate software to protect against any of the above.
