Dick Strawbridge Angels husband named the room overlooking the gardens the Potagerie suit and from that moment it started to gain a life of it own as Angel managed to combine her love of art deco design and shapes with items from the garden including carrots, courgettes, artichokes, sea peas and buzzing bees, all the things that are so adorned by her husband.
