1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
Energy flow, vitality, beauty and balance. I like a colourful mix of furniture, art and objects that truly reflect and deeply nurture my client’s personality and style.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
I begin with an understanding of my client’s life goals and intentions, and assess their space accordingly using a variety of Feng Shui tools. With this in place, further creative adjustments such as furniture and art placement emerge with ease.
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is that you respect and admire the most?
Every day seems to bring a new creative star into my life, from the artists who create wonderful work for my clients’ walls to interior designers, colour specialists, cabinet-builders and more. I also feel indebted to many of my Feng Shui teachers and especially Terah Kathryn Collins, whose open, accessible approach to Feng Shui inspires me every day in my mission to bring its benefits into as many lives as possible.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired? Why does this work for you so well?
I eagerly look forward to diving into The World Of Interiors magazine each month. The vitality, creativity and eclecticism its editors track down all over the world has been inspiring me for over 15 years now with no sign of slowing down.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
I discovered Feng Shui in the 1990’s when it helped me weather the wrenching life transition that was necessary after upheaval in my personal and professional life. My advice is to stay alert to the path in life that gives you the best sense of freedom and possibility, and see where it may lead you.
