1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
I strive to bring more peace and simplicity into chaotic homes. I am inspired by the opportunity to find simple, creative solutions to a home’s organizational and aesthetic issues.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
I start with asking questions to find out what my clients needs, habits and tendencies are, to get to the root of the problem, then I create a simple organizational system that works with their style.
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
Best friends Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus known as “The Minimalists” speak to my heart. They both discovered that they were not actually happy with having all the stuff their hearts desired, so decided to let it all go. They found happiness by shifting their focus from material gain, to doing what they love for a living and on valuing the people in their lives. Though I am not a minimalist myself, I do base my business and life on living more simply and peacefully.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
I love to read and am often inspired by other people’s creative success stories. I guess you could say that my own creative juices get flowing when I read about other innovative ideas.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
Over the years, I have helped many people gain control over their clutter. This brings me great satisfaction to know that I have reduced not only the clutter in their homes but also the stress in their lives. My advice, truly care about the clients you are serving, and be flexible and empathic.
