1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
I appreciate almost every design style, I love to incorporate a mixture of styles. But it really is about who is living in the space and what makes them happy.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
I study all the layers in the space from the lighting, flooring, architectural features, and textures. Then I look for inspiration – for example bringing the outdoors colour inside.
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with Davinder Chawla of La Maison Interiors in Scottsdale, Arizona. Davinder is truly an amazing Designer. She is the kind, compassionate and beautiful inside and out. It is a goal of mine to meet and work with Candice Olson, her concepts are inspiring, her attention to detail is exquisite and I love her sense of humor.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
Inspiration is all around us. I don’t always make a plan, I just need to trust, be open, let go and don’t force it and wait for the magic to happen.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
I always wanted to build, design or sell homes. Creating inspiring environments has been a passion of mine years. My advice is to always do the right thing, stay humble, be thankful and share your talents. Get a coach, hone your craft and learn the art of business.
