1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I’m all about the fab things in life, the most elusive of ladylike pleasures, not to mention i’m a fan of cheeky stuff and most definitely not a stranger to profanity. All of which it is reflected in my blog. Color is always a must. The bigger and bolder, the better; in my perfect world, nothing is over the top, which is apparent in my aesthetic.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

Honestly? I make a cocktail (or three), put my bubble up, head down and just GO for it. The process potentially differs from project to project, but this criteria has proven to be the most effective and bear the best results. Highly recommended. Also, both of my cocktail swatchbooks have a permanent place on my desk at ALL times. So I’d say that helps ☺

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

A good friend of mine, Joy Cho of Oh Joy! has always blown me away with her ability to juggle a million different projects, manage her business in the most organized manner possible AND still produce creativity beaming with brilliance. She is truly one-in-a-million.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

Nothing is “done” per sé, rather felt and seen. Coronado and Palm Springs are where I gather much of my inspiration. Between the vintage shops, mid-century modern architecture & plethora of pool to people ratio in Palm Springs and the always beautiful, always fresh + never dull Coronado, I find my inspirational pockets completely filled.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

My blog is different and definitely not for everybody. Many people find offensive what I find humorous, but for those who fit the mold are likely reeled in with my rich rhymes and wit. My advice is to always stay true to yourself and not allow others’ content or design style sway your decisions.
