1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
Though my style is constantly evolving, I’d still describe the overall aesthetic as India Modern, blending traditional Indian motifs and art in contemporary spaces.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
It’s dictated by my clients. I take their inputs, run them through my filter and collate a mood board.
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
I work with my husband and brother in law who have helped me setup my online business and are my biggest inspirations. Their focus is form and function where is mine is beauty and aesthetic - therefore we greatly compliment each other. They are the most hardworking people I know.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
Travel is the biggest, but I can find it in vintage books, museums and fashion. I also greatly admire the styles of Kelly Wreastler and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
Perseverance and hard work has got me where I am. I read somewhere, and now truly believe it - 'If you want to succeed, make sure every person you hire is better than you in every department.’
