1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

Whether the décor is traditional, contemporary, or transitional, I insist on an uncluttered and clean aesthetic.  I also gravitate toward rooms that are decorated for living and not just for show.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

Good organization starts with purging anything unwanted, beyond repair, and unneeded.  Then I create the right infrastructure, organize what’s left, and put systems in place for maintenance.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

There are many phenomenal creative people I’ve been privileged to work with, and all have unique talents.  I love Alexa Hampton and Mark Epstein who do beautiful high end residences with originality and sumptuous decor.  Kimille Taylor’s lamps are simply a must have.  I’ve also worked with Mariela Melamed, an architect by training, who has a special talent for building and decorating small spaces.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

When I’m organizing a space, I envision a blank canvas and focus first on the functionality.  Then, I address the aesthetics so that the inside of every drawer and cabinet looks photo ready!

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

When I’m organizing a space, I envision a blank canvas and focus first on the functionality.  Then, I address the aesthetics so that the inside of every drawer and cabinet looks photo ready!
