Dani Perelman is a product designer & creative director working at his own self-named design studio from Israel. Dani’s work is influenced by urban city life and graphic design, as well as natural elements. He strives for innovation, creating aesthetically pleasing designs that are interactive and fully functional. Dani started as an architecture design student and then went on to study product design. He graduated from Holon Institute of Technology (H.I.T), Israel, in 2011.So we are proud to bring you the Designer Insights of Dani Perelman.

1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
My tendency is to make a clean and simple designs. Most of my designs comes from the combination between classic and modern inspiration.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
I always start with a deep research about the project that I'm going to work on, it's functionality and the user interaction. Then I look for a different inspiration that can bring me to a new idea.
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
I have a lot of favorites designers, each of them are distinguished in their own way. Jaime Hayon - a Spanish artist-designer that represents for me a gentle classic design with modern look and ornaments. Karim Rashid - a modern designer who designs the 60's in a modern way. And Dieter Rams - a German Bauhaus industrial designer, I admire his simplicity & clean products.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
My inspiration can come from everywhere and any time. First I write down my ideas, and then I come back to examine them during the night and start to develop them.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
Since I was a child I dealt with creation and invention of objects. Hard work, persistence and a lot of love to the profession - are the reasons for success. My advice for others: be prepared to work hard, love what you do, always be faithful to your own lines and try not to be attached to your work.
