1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I love an eclectic style, a mix of new, vintage, and industrial blended together to create a unique and personal style that shows character. I love color and lots of it!

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

I like to brainstorm, considering how a project will be used, the most practical way to create it, and how I need the final outcome to look and perform. And sometimes I just wing it!

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

We haven’t worked together but I’m always inspired by Eddie Ross. I love his style and the creative way he transforms thrifted items and adds a DIY touch to turn something old into awesome. He follows trends but always embraces his own creative style as well. I’m also inspired by other bloggers. The level of creativity that gets shared every day on the internet is amazing!

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I often look to the current season or holiday or a current trend and use it as a springboard for something unique. Nature is also full of inspiration and it’s always changing depending on the time of year, providing a palette of new ideas.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

My path started with a passion for creating things and, with a lot of hard work and perseverance, it’s turned into a fun opportunity to share ideas with my readers while working for companies I love. My advice is make a way. If you’re passionate about something, find a way to do it.
