METALLIC GRAPHITE CURTAIN POLES

When trying to envision the colour of our metallic graphite curtain poles, think pencil lead. The colour of pencil lead isn’t grey, nor is it black. It isn’t shiny, but it does have a shimmering undertone. It looks good almost any place you’d use black and doesn’t create as stark of a contrast as black, but a softer more subdued one. Graphite looks outstanding with a monochromatic grey colour scheme. It also enhances bolder colours, such as red, but with much more finesse and less drama than black. You’ll love it as an accent for pastels, giving high contrast but without any harshness.

Our poles come in a number of different lengths and diameters. When looking for the perfect diameter for your window treatment, you have to consider many different factors. If the pole is high above eye level, it can look too small for the job and destroy your décor, so a larger diameter fits better. However, too large of a diameter in a small window can look bulky and out of place, which is just as bad. Try to keep the pole proportional to the room and window size. Some decorators also recommend finding the best diameter for the largest window and using with all the windows in the room.
