What Others are Saying Within the World of Interior Design - 13th September
Today I'm taking a look at colour and it seems I'm not the only one to be doing so. Many of my favourite interior design blogs are also highlighting the use of colour. Take a look at these fabulous finds and bring a touch of bright colour into your home.
One of the Material Girls, Jill LA, was lucky enough to go to the Las Vegas Furnishing Market last month – in this post she re-caps on her visit and shares some of the fabulous finds, including this fabulous colour blocked chair.
Bright colours are highlighted in this delightful post. There's some interesting images showing how even those who are not terribly brave when it comes to adding colour can give their homes a little colour boost.
L'OBJET's Cabinet of Curiosities is a short but interesting post which shows how colour can be added via accessories. Using semi-precious stones and little collections beautiful pops of colour can be added to the dullest of corners or plain surfaces.
Having white walls may give you a blank canvass on which to work colour magic to add real style to a room, but there are ways to go about getting the look correct. Jill's post is well worth a read, especially if you live in a rental property. It provides great insight on how to add colour without encroaching on your landlord's white walls.
