1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I love to showcase my Scandinavian heritage in new and modern ways. Everything has to be functional and sophisticated, but with a touch of whimsy. Almost fairytale-esque.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

Everything starts with a vision of what could be, and then I backtrack to see how I can best implement my ideas. I always dream big and go for it.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

There is no way I can choose between them all, but the best results have always stemmed from people who have challenged me to do something different and unexpected. Sometimes you can be your own worst enemy, and their collective wisdom has taught me to trust my instincts and not let my insecurities make decisions for me. I admire fearlessness in people.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I look at my clients and let them inspire me. Where they live, who they are, their lifestyles, and what they care about should always reflect in the final design.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

I am where I am because I enjoy taking on new challenges. I say yes to as many opportunities as I can because I always learn something new from them, and it allows me to continue growing as a person. If you invest in yourself, you can't possibly go wrong.
