1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

Quite organic, often detailed and delicate.  I enjoy combining fine pen lines with paint or marker pen and even collage sometimes before working into it further digitally.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

Research the theme and trends, build mood boards and start sketching.  Then develop the sketches and ideas I like most and eventually scan them in and work further in Illustrator or Photoshop.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

It’s so hard to pick just one!  I most admire and respect those who have a strong passion and determination for what they do, which shines through in their work.  They really believe in what they do and just keep going even when they are knocked back.  It’s a tough industry and you need a thick skin to survive! Those who are willing to share their knowledge and help others.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

As well as getting out and about walking, I also find being among other creative people very inspiring as you tend to feed off each others creativity and energy.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

Sheer determination, refusing to give up and the fact that I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else!  Keep creating everyday and share what you do.  Believe in yourself and just keep going, developing your work and getting it out there in front of the right people.
