1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

Each project develops with focus on promoting engagement and changing perceptions of value using both familiar and unconventional connections in materials, objects or spaces.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

My hope is each design response reflects longevity, value and intelligence. My cross-disciplinary design work is driven by an aesthetic philosophy based on refinement and can be characterized as having a concept driven narrative.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

Creativity is dynamic and timeless and I find it hard at times to single out one particular person or group of people. I respect all creatives who bring valid change to what has already been established or bring focus to what is yet unclear. My utmost respect goes to designers like Garth Roberts who quietly introduces visions of what no one thought possible or diligently uses innovative and systematic design strategies.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I draw inspiration from the affective qualities of objects people emotionally resonate with. I am intensely analytic and I feel this helps drive the unseen narratives in developing product, furniture, lighting and special design work.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

I am and have always been driven to understand what possibilities there are for ideas that have yet to become real. I would direct others to look within themselves for those objects that do not respond to trends or fashion but rely on passion, functionality, beauty, sustainability and a process of continual evolution.
