1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

As a Professional Organizer, my goal is to create spaces that are un-cluttered, functional, and beautiful.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

I work closely with the client to create a “vision” for the space. I ask them how they want the space to feel and look. Also, what function does the space need to serve? I then find out what things bring them the most joy so I can incorporate them into the space design.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I most admire my industry partners that can take my vision and create custom products to fit the needs of my clients. Because each space and client is unique it is important to understand the client’s needs and incorporate that into the design. While one client may need more hanging space, another may need more drawers. In order to keep a space organized, it needs to be easy to maintain.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I find inspiration through traveling. Everywhere I turn, I find something new to fall in love with. And it is important for me to bring that home to my clients.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

As a Professional Organizer, I am able to combine my love for design with helping people unclutter their lives and create organizational systems that work. My advice for people looking to become a Professional Organizer is to approach it slowly. Begin by offering to help friends and family with their spaces. If this is truly your calling, it will happen so don’t give up if things are not moving along as quickly as you planned. And finally, do something you love….life is too short to do anything else.
