1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

My approach is anthropological, an understanding of the residential and corporate client’s lifestyle and unique taste to create a functional visual that reflects their personality or brand image.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

Regardless of style, every project reflects a classic, yet cutting edge aesthetic incorporating the latest innovations in product, and exotic materials. I am proud to create spaces where people are delighted by their surroundings.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I have a client who is founder and chief executive of a global beverage company. While working closely with him in designing his corporate headquarters in New York, I was amazed by his vision, creativity, and way with people. I was honoured to be selected to project his brand image to the world!

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

My clients inspire me to design what they envision. Since each client is different, I have the opportunity to create many different and exciting homes, offices, resorts, and restaurants.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

At age 8 my parents were treated to my budding interior design talents. After studying architecture and human ecology at university, I have since built my own business employing 20 people. I design for people’s sake not for design’s sake. I truly listen to what the client envisions and my goal is to make it tangible for them. Never be afraid of color! Even black is beautiful.
