Every year on 5th June World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated to raise awareness of the need to take positive environmental action.
At the launch of this years World Environment Day, which is focusing on Small Islands and Developing Sates, UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon said “Planet Earth is our shared island, let us join forces to protect it.”
