1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I love homes that reflect your personality and the places you’ve been. They’re unfussy, functional and very comfortable, working as the quiet background for the busy lives we all lead these days.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

I always ask my clients how they want to feel when walking in when they open the front door. Then, understanding their lifestyle, what’s working for and against them in the current space.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

My colleagues and clients are constantly teaching me new ways of approaching challenges and projects, but really it is the strength and openness that my clients bring to their time with me that deeply inspire me to always go above and beyond on my work.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

Unplugging completely and going out to nature is definitely the best way to reset my creative juices. Observing how people live and checking home design books and stores, art galleries always refill my “bucket”.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

Persistence, dedication and love for what I do and the people I serve. Knowing that my work will impact their daily lives in a very positive way is deeply rewarding. Understanding you’ll always be a student of your craft keeps you growing and updated both as a professional and as a person.
