We end the week with a post full of gorgeous bathrooms for you to be inspired by; some are more realistically achievable than others, but they all have the ‘wow’ and feel good factor.
You may not live in a tree house and in the UK it’s unlikely that you’d want to take a bath outside, but you can dream of far away places whether you’re bath is free-standing or a more traditional style.
Even if you have a traditionally styled bathroom there’s nothing stopping you from turning it into a more luxurious space. Giving your bath an all round tiled border will make it look as if it’s free-standing. Chose oceanic colours that will look classy for many years.
Oozing luxury, bathrooms which provide all the creature comforts you need in neutral tones, using natural materials, tick all the right boxes in the interior design world.
Small doesn’t mean that a bathroom lacks style. Maximise the space with a corner bath – white rather than the pastel tones of a few years ago will bring a bathroom bang up to-date. Go for a natural look by using light coloured rectangular tiles which give a wood-like appearance and take the eye horizontally, giving the illusion of more space.
Dim the lights while you indulge in a long, hot bath. Irrespective of size, bathrooms which have character and style will look amazing in warm cream and chocolate tones.
Don’t have a bathroom? Then convert an old barn or outbuilding complete with open log fire. This may be a fantasy bathroom but it does show interior design concepts at their very best.
When choosing colours and styles for your bathroom it’s worth noting that white or colours derived from nature are the ones that will stand the test of time on the style front.
