An extra deep
(138mm/5") pinch pleat tape that automatically forms the pleat, that can
be used for up to heavyweight curtains, to produce a more sumptuous
look
This tape is recommended for long drop curtains only, due to the deep nature of the tape.
The tape has 2
bulked drawcords and 2 rows of woven pockets. The tape also has 2 sewing
lines woven into the tape for easy sew. The fullness of this tape is
approximately 2.25 times.
If you wish to use this tape, you will also need the pinch/goblet pleat tape hooks (sold separately) as shown in the diagrams

All Ruflette tapes are heat treated
after weaving for the best pre-shrinking, making the tapes more stable
over time. Pencil pleat drawcords are encased in a tunnel at the back of
the pleat for an even maximum depth D shaped pleat.
This prevents some of the properties of other tapes, which produce a
more S shaped pleat, which is less affective, and can hide up to 50% of
the fabric.
