A pale cream shimmery slub satin with exquisite stylised embroidered flowers in varying shades of green, yellow, grey and black delicately embellished with a metallic thread.
Midas certainly is fit for a king and has that touch of gold. This 100% polyester slub-satin base has fine scrolling stems executed in raised embroidered satin-stitch which delicately scroll between jewel-like flowers which are formed from viscose threads.
The splendour of the fabric is created by the metallic embroidery threads which have been used in relieve to outline and emphasise the ornate floral and leaf shapes within each flower. The metallic threads catch the light beautifully and really do give the fabric the impression that it has had that ‘Midas touch’.
The use of cotton ‘twill’ interlining used with this fabric for curtains or drapes would give it the sumptuous look of interlined silk. The same soft ‘twill’ could also be used to give body to a luxurious roman blind. Specialist Care Instructions: Dry clean using siloxane only. Iron on reverse. |
