Hi, I’m Fiona, a lifelong crafter and lover of all things handmade.

Originally a cross-stitcher, my sewing gene was kick-started by attending a Local Authority evening class several years ago and really kicked into gear when I volunteered to make bags for the bridesmaids at my middle son’s wedding a couple of years ago. Since then I have made several quilts for family members and more cushions and bags than I can count, and I still have plans for many more! My Work-in-Progress list never seems to get any shorter no matter how many projects I finish.

Since dipping a toe in the world of online blogs and tutorials a couple of years ago I have been constantly inspired by all the great bloggers and crafters and their amazing projects that are available at the click of a mouse. My mind is a whirl of exciting projects to try and new techniques to master, all I need do now is find the time to tackle them.

When I am not stitching up a storm, you will find me blogging at http://celticthistlestitches.blogspot.co.uk/ where I host a monthly Link up for bloggers to celebrate any new technique or activity they have tried that month. I also host an Annual competition for a mini-project based upon a Holiday Memory. Feel free to drop in and say hello anytime :)
