READY MADE CURTAINS BY SIZE

In order to make your shopping experience more pleasurable and easier we have categorised our ready made curtains by size. This will enable you to go straight to the relevant curtain size to your windows and patio doors. Saving you time, you'll be able to see the vast ranges of ready made curtains by size that we offer. All at incredibly low prices and size to fit all standard windows.

All of our ready made curtains by size come in pairs, so the size that is given is for each curtain, therefore if for example you are looking for 44” x 54” ready made curtains you'll receive two curtains, each measuring this size. This will allow for an elegant fitting to suit the style of curtains you have chosen.

In order to get the correct size of curtains you'll have to do some measuring! Measure the width first, as all of our ready made curtains by size have the width size first followed by the length. (e.g. 44” is the width and 54” relates to the length). Begin by measuring the width of your curtain pole or curtain tracking; remember that these should be fitted approximately 6” above the window and extend approximately 6” either side of the window casing opening. (These approximations do not include the end finials of curtain poles).

We recommend that the total width of both the ready made curtains should be one and a half times the width of the curtain pole or tracking to allow for fullness and an elegant end result.

Taking measurements for ready made curtains by size which are to be hung from curtain poles:

Pencil pleat curtains: Take the measurement from the small metal ring situated at the bottom of each curtain ring. This will enable the pole and the rings to be seen.

Tab top curtains: take your measurement from the very top of the pole's diameter.

Take the measurement from the top of the curtain track/s.

Before you take the drop (length) measurement you need to decide where you wish the curtains to finish; the top of your window sill, just below the window sill or to the floor.

If you wish them to sit onto your window sill we suggest that the curtains finish 1/2” (1.5cm.) above the sill.

For curtains to finish below the sill we recommend 6” (15cm) below the sill.

For floor length curtains we suggest you take your measurement to 1/2” (1.5cm.) above the floor.

If you want the latest floor length curtains that pool onto the floor remember to choose the right type of fabric along with sufficient length allowance.
