1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I am naturally drawn to the quirky and bohemian however I love scandinavian design and I source many of my products for my childrens interiors boutique Castles for Rascals, from that part of the world.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

I concentrate my time now on children's interiors but the process is still the same, I start with a key piece or pattern and work back from that whilst trying to inject the fun and unexpected.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I learnt a lot from Painter and Art Historian Liza Shamash, she was an incredible lady with an innate sense of colour and style who is sadly no longer with us.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I find museums and art galleries very inspiring but I trade shows such as Maison et Objet are exciting as you get to see new products and think how to use and introduce them.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

I have been an Interior Designer for 15 years, following a career in TV production. I have been lucky to work on some amazing projects in both the residential and commercial worlds. Currently I am focusing my time on my childrens interiors brand as my own children are just 1 & 3 years old. I have had to evolve and adapt as my situations have changed and that would be my best advice for anyone starting out.
