1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

Everything that I create stems from my roots. I was born in the rich and vibrant land of Bangladesh – a culture infused with vivid colors and textures. And that is my muse.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

My passion for art/design and a strong background in Architecture has given me the hunger for building things block by block. I apply those ideas to everything from designing to even cooking.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I value everyone that I come across in life and for what they have to offer. Most importantly, I respect my entire family for continuing to support and inspire me to keep grasping for more. Growing up, I have noticed how imaginative my Mother has always been and realized that she is the source of my creative being. Also, I am highly motivated by people who are willing to showcase their culture to the rest of the world.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

Travelling is a great way to look for inspiration – even if it’s the local thrift store. While I am constantly inspired by my own culture, other vibrant ethnicities are also a great source for my vision.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

A childhood passion for drawing/sketching/painting led me to my study into the world of Architecture. I found that the same principles in building design can be applied to every other project and design is present in everything. With this realization I began my journey. My advice would be to not be afraid to claim what makes one unique and extraordinary.
