1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I am inspired by story tales, nature and childhood memories in El Salvador. There is a naive, playful spirit captured in my art through the use of collage, watercolours and pencil.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

The first stages consist of cutting out and painting freely without putting too much pressure on the result. I develop characters, textures and icons which I combine to form a final composition.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I think I admire all creative and artistic people in general who pursue their dreams tirelessly whilst staying true to themselves, their values and what they believe in.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I like to travel to different places, meet new cultures, read magazines, watch wildlife documentaries, visit craft markets and exhibitions in London. I draw inspiration from the natural world which I respect deeply.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

Perseverance and hard work, you have to invest a lot of time honing your skills. Art is a never ending path of discovery, constant learning, experimentation and evolution. In order to produce unique pieces you have to dig deep, find your own voice and believe in yourself.
