1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
The designs are inspired by shapes that aren’t available on the market today. We push the boundaries of contemporary furniture design to create products that are innovative, stylish and modern.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
First, we hone and refine a 3D model before making a physical prototype – which can be turned into a finished product within a day, allowing us to experiment with ideas
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
Growing up, I always worked on projects with my father. He was very much involved in the restoration of old pieces of furniture. He has a great attention to detail which he showed in every he made. His work ethic, skills and ability to produce such beautiful pieces were outstanding. His passion and love of furniture still today inspires me in all of my designs and concepts which I produce.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
My mind is constantly active, which is why I always keep a sketchpad by my side. Reading keeps my brain occupied and gives me time to reflect on current projects.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
Like most people, I needed a 9-5 job to pay bills but those roles didn’t allow for creativity. I found my outlet in furniture design. My advice is to start small, learn from your mistakes and try to have fun. It’s a privilege to do something you love – enjoy it.
