1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

My style is traditional with a twist. I create classic, tailored rooms using color as the pop factor. I love color, texture and pattern. I enjoy mixing the old with the new to create a timeless balance.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

When starting a new project, I like to experiment with the fabrics, paint colors, textures and materials by creating a board. This gives me the flexibility to create a great end result.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I love doing showhouses which allows me to work with many talented designers and trades people. I admire and respect all of them for their great creativity!

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

For inspiration, I love reading design books and magazines. Pinterest and houzz are other great sources.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

Ever since I was a child, I loved rearranging furniture in rooms and color. I moved on to doing major renovations and design. You have to just jump in and not be afraid. Always go with what you love. Don't be intimidated and only take clients who value you and the design process. I've also found it very helpful to start with a letter of agreement that explains all terms and conditions so there is complete transparency in the process.
