1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

My style would best be described as classic, elegant and timeless while remaining contemporary, modern and forward looking. I like to mix high and low, old and new…contrasts on all levels create the most interesting and personalized spaces.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

I’m inspired by my client ( their likes, style, clothing, mannerisms, wishlist etc.) and the architecture of their home…it is a true privilege to be able to express peoples lifestyles through their environment, so it must begin with them.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I have worked with many creative and talented people who are all very different and their contributions are unique to them. From designers to photographers, faux finish artists to landscape artists and jewelry designers, each has contributed to the journey of expression through art and design. I admire them all for the special skills they possess and have gratitude for the opportunity to work with them.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

When I feel bound by the lack of inspiration, getting away from my home, my environment and my world allows me to free up my brain to allow new ideas in, travelling to different cities, especially abroad, does the trick.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

Having graduated from university almost 20 years ago, with many exciting highs and very low ‘lows’, it has been a journey, but perseverance and determination to continue expressing creativity through interior design solutions has kept me in an industry which expects great sacrifices, but brings wonderful rewards.
