1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I strive to find a systematic balance between comfort and style, with a focus on contemporary quality designs and clean, simple lines expressed in undemanding monotones.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

First stop: Pinterest - I love how you can browse individual images that later on creates an overview of the look and feel you are trying to achieve. From there I import my pins into SampleBoard to create my digital mood boards.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

In the online world I live in, I admire and follow various different stylists and bloggers in the interior design industry. Without them, this journey would be pretty lonely and I value their daily inspirational posts filled with so much personality and passion for what they do immensely. It allows me to carry on doing what I do everyday, knowing I have my fellow online design enthusiasts around the world to turn to at any given moment.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

A long walk on the beach. I am blessed to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I take full advantage of our majestic mountains and sun-kissed beaches to clear my head and allow space for new ideas to cultivate.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

In order to be successful in business you need to have vision, drive, determination, and discipline. And with that comes a whole lot of excitement, discovery, lots of work and research, frustration somewhere along the way, problem solving and ultimately fulfillment. Stay true to who you are and what makes you happy.
