1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

As a professional organiser, I aim to find the perfect balance between form and function. I am all about classic simplicity with a few unique pieces to represent life’s journey.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

It is crucial that I tap into my client’s natural organising preferences and personal style and use those as the foundation for the space. If the space or system doesn’t work for them it is unlikely that my client will be able to maintain it.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

The people who I admire most are those dedicated individuals who work in the community sector, supporting those who need it the most. They devise people-centred care plans and coordinate services within their limited resources, requiring the highest level of creativity and initiative. They give so much of themselves and do so with the utmost respect and care for their clients and expect nothing in return. They are very special people.

4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I have always got my eyes open looking for ideas! If I am feeling a little flat, nothing picks me up more than a good coffee and a home magazine to get the inspiration flowing again.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

This profession encapsulates all of my skills and talents. Whilst the journey to this point had many highs and lows, I know those experiences have made me a better Organiser. It is said so often, but my advice is to be true to yourself and follow your passion. You will know when you find it because you will bounce out of bed every day eager to get started!
